Emergency - an app developed for the American Red Cross - not only notifies users of disasters across the US and provides step-by-step instructions to keep individuals safe, it allows users to alert family and friends, who can them respond that they are safe/not safe, and send their exact locations. The app functions by alerting your loved ones and responding to you with their safety status and location even if they do not have the app downloaded. It was also one of the first NFP apps available for the Apple Watch, and designed with every essential function working from the watch alone. |
